Rounded Rectangle: My Vision Anne Davis is a nurse who offers consulting, training and coaching to help healthcare organizations provide exceptional patient care for the best outcomes. After many years in healthcare, Anne realized that patients often leave their doctor’s office or the hospital with many questions, and have difficulties in following the diet, exercise, or treatment recommendations they were given. She founded HealthStar Solutions to work with organizations and also to coach individuals supporting them in making the changes needed to achieve optimal health. Rounded Rectangle: Education & Experience Anne fulfilled her childhood dreams of becoming a nurse and has enjoyed the opportunities and challenges of working in many different areas of healthcare for over 35 years. After graduating from Hunter College with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Anne worked for many years in New York City Hospitals. Realizing that funding and decisions on healthcare are made by legislators and regulators, Anne became involved in public policy and received her Masters of Public Administration from NYU. She then worked for national and state health industry associations where she was able to shape the decisions impacting our healthcare. Most recently she worked for the Georgia Hospital Association as a Patient Safety Specialist where she consulted with Georgia hospitals to improve safety and quality. She is most proud of her training and coaching for staff that helped hospitals implement many of the safety tools used in aviation and industry for error prevention making care safer for all of us. Anne worked with key Georgia stakeholders to create the Georgia Uniform Patient Medication form to help patients take steps to make their care safer. Anne is a graduate of the National Patient Safety Corps, a program for national patient safety leaders, sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and the Veterans Administration. She is a Career and Life Coache certified to provide the training for The Life Purpose Institute Coaching Process by the Life Purpose Institute. This process has been successfully utilized since 1984 with over 40,000 people worldwide. Rounded Rectangle: Family and Fun Family and the great quality of life brought Anne to Georgia where she now lives in Roswell with her husband Bob, and dog Buddi and Spunki the cat. They spend lots of time babysitting and having fun with their 3 grandchildren, granddaughters Jordan 11, Jillian 8, and grandson Cooper who is 3 going on 12. Anne relaxes by spending time with friends, training for the annual Peachtree Road Race, reading, and cooking. Anne Grabois-Davis Certified Coach
